WARNING: The "Set" (.bex) file never seems to get locked and/or you don't get notified of changes (to reload) You can "version" individual pages (using Slipsheet?).Ĭan be used in a Studio Project, but doesn't seem to work well. ~ NOTE: If you make changes to a sheet (tab), it will stay open when you click on another sheet in the set (i.e. + TIP: Right-click > "open in new tab" to make it easier to go back and forth between particular sheets. The "Sets" panel essentially replaces the "Thumbnails" panel selecting a page will replace the FIRST open tab (from the Set). The Markups List only shows markups for (the current) ONE page (doesn't really matter if it's scanned markups). + It's easier to collaborate with others (without needing a Session), assuming you're not on the same pages. Single files that appear as one (each sheet/page is a separate file).

NOTE: "Review" is not an editable State Model, but "Migration" (the other OOTB State Model) can be edited. This is why a Color override is not set (and so that ENG can see the original markup color - if blue was used for notes, if color coding was used, etc.). TIP: Filter out "Completed" (and others) to "gray out" the markups on the sheet (and hide them on the Markups List). "CAD" or "ENG" prefix indicates WHO should be setting the status. Markup was wrong, no longer applies, etc. Not normally needed, but can be used for assigning work, if necessary. Uncheck "Review" and add "KAI" (if you have more than one State Model, a submenu will be created for each (which is inconvenient to use). Any other changes made to documents cannot be saved until the product is registered._ Do not show this message again_Ĭannot be done in a Studio Session (status categories can be set, but not modified).

Revit automatically creates hyperlinks when making a PDF (though the target is the full sheet, not just the detail), but this can be especially useful when working with as-builts (going back and forth between plans and details).

TIP: can copy the clouds (from difference) and shift-paste into overlay PDF result (so can get both together)
